Adriana and Orlando have been professional dancers and teachers of Argentine Tango for over twenty-five years. With a background in classical ballet, they started off studying Tango in Buenos Aires under the auspices of renowned tango masters.
International performances include the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Aruba, Argentina, Canada, Indonesia and their native Colombia. They have been based in New York since 2007 where they have taught and performed at many tango venues nationwide. They have also been guest teachers and performers at Holland America, Norwegian and Royal Princess cruises 2012-2013. Other stage performances include Tango Malbec House in New York City 2012-2014. They are currently the official Tango performers of the Pan American Symphony of DC.
Their smooth, romantic, elegant style and solid connection make their Tango Salon and Stage performances outstanding. Their constant dedication for Argentine Tango is palpable and has won them recognition with awards at their native Colombia and more recently in the USA, where they have become the USA Stage Tango (2019) and Tango de Pista (2021) Champions.

CAROLINA DEL RIVERO & RICARDO BIGGERI

Carolina del Rivero started dancing at the age of 6; and throughout her career has mastered many different dances. She studied ballet at the most renowned opera house in Latin America, the world-famous Teatro Colon. She later studied modern dance at the famous “Taller de Danza Contemporánea del Teatro San Martin.”
Carolina discovered tango in 1995, and since the year 2000 Carolina has traveled around the world giving workshops and exhibitions, including in the USA, Europe, South America, Central America, and Asia.
From 2000 until the present day, Carolina has been consistently sought after to be a teacher and performer in many renowned Tango Festivals throughout the USA, Europe and Canada.
She participated as a master teacher and dancer in the “Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino” (C.I.T.A) -the world’s largest annual tango event that takes place in Buenos Aires, from 2001 until 2014. Carolina and Ricardo have performed and taught together at C.I.T.A. since 2024.
Applying all her artistic knowledge from other dances, Carolina brings to tango style and elegance. She has a profound understanding of the technique and dynamics of the dance, and also of the woman’s role in it, which she powerfully transmits to her students.
Most recently, Carolina has practiced and studied the Feldenkrais Method, a technique of Awareness through Movement. Feldenkrais allows us to understand how to use our bodies’ movements without effort. She graduated as a Feldenkrais Practitioner in 2020. she currently gives classes and workshops on the Method, as well as integrates Feldenkrais with Tango in different seminars in Argentina and around the world; to great effect and feedback on her students.
Ricardo Biggeri is an Argentine tango dancer, teacher, choreographer and DJ.
Ricardo has studied with well-known teachers of different styles of tango to further his own vision of the dance.
Ricardo began his professional career in 2000, and for the next 8 years, taught 10 classes a week and held many exhibitions at La Viruta Tango, the most famous and popular place for tango at that time. He worked with highly experienced colleagues to continue to hone his teaching methods.
In 2006, he began working in different festivals nationally and in 2007, started touring internationally, teaching and performing shows at workshops and festivals in Canada, the United States, and throughout Europe. At the same time, Ricardo remained active in the Buenos Aires tango scene teaching regular classes.
Ricardo combines the traditional and contemporary concepts creating a style recognized for its connection, musicality, elegance and dynamics.
As a teacher, Ricardo has an uncanny ability to break down movements and their techniques, finding a simple and fun way to get to the most complex sequences.
Ricardo is also a Swing dancer, teacher, choreographer and DJ.
He was a pioneer of swing dance in Argentina, laying the foundation for what is now a vibrant scene organizing and participating in countless events and winning many international awards.

In Buenos Aires Eduardo has taught and performed in the traditional and popular Milongas (Dance Clubs) such as Salon Canning and Almagro among others and in El Viejo Correo where he was also a co-host for several years.Eduardo taught in the majestic La Confiteria Ideal in Buenos Aires - "La Gran Dame de la Belle Epoque" for 10 years.Eduardo is the creator, director, co-choreographer and co-producer of the dinner show "Tango Cafe- Una Noche Ideal" presented with much success for three seasons in the historical La Confiteria Ideal,In 2002 Eduardo presented the Show - "Tango" in association with Por El Amor Del Tango on Saltspring Island, Canada, Eduardo choreographed and co-produced the Tango Show "Passion & Joy" in 2012 and "Tango-Fusion d'Amor" in 2013 in association with Tango by the River, Sacramento, Ca, In 2014 Eduardo was the MC and lead performer in the 1st Seattle Show Case- "Mi Camino" in association with Michelle Badion,Eduardo was invited to appear in the National Geographic Documentary Series - "Consequencias" 2010 and to participate in the European Documentary "My First Tango" released in 2014,2015 Argentine Tango USA Official Festival and Championship San Francisco, Ca, April 2-5, appointed official judge.

SILVANA BRIZUELA
Silvana Briuela-Weigel (dancer/performer) born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, began her studies in that city at the "Escuela Nacional de Danzas" and at the prestigious worldwide "Teatro Colón"; from where she obtained a postgraduate degree in Ballet and took part dancing in various Opera and Ballet productions, including Giselle, Carmen, The Nutcracker, Walpurgis Night -from Fausto-, Don Quixote, and Tannhäuser. Later on, she was admitted at the school of the "Teatro Municipal General San Martín", continuing her dance training and learning all the major Contemporary Dance Techniques, as well as Choreography Composition.While keeping that vast training and work simultaneously, she studied Tango with Mingo & Esther Pugliese, Eduardo Sotelo & Ivonne Laens, Rodolfo Dinzel, Julio Balmaceda, plus Natalia Games& Gabriel Angió.
She has been performing and teaching for more than 20 years at various noteworthy venues and Festivals in Buenos Aires and USA.
Nowadays, Silvana works organizing events, teaching and performing mostly in New York, New Jersey, and in Boston at Dance Union in Somerville,
In order to clarify Tango Principles, enhance and improve transmitting skills; she practices Yoga, Tai Chi Chuan and the ancient Chinese art of Nei-Kung. Her teaching emphasizes on technique, partner connection and improvisation.
GUILLERMO MERLO

Guillermo Merlo is a true legend in the world of Argentine tango. Renowned for his elegant style,unique interpretation, creative choreography and powerful command of the stage.
He is a dancer, performer, choreographer, instructor and Coach.
Guillermo has well over 30 years of experience in Argentine Tango which has made him a respected tango maestro around the world. His dance is elegant, sensual and playful with humor.
Guillermo Merlo was the recipients of the 1997 and 1998 TONY AWARD for Best Choreography for the show ‘Forever Tango’ on Broadway and with his then partner, won first place in the WORLD Argentine Tango Championship in 1999.
Also in 1999, and had the honor of being the first non-Asians ever invited to perform at the Imperial Theater in Tokyo.
Guillermo has performed in concert with several Symphony Orchestras (New Mexico, Long Beach, Costa Mesa, USA) and was commissioned the creation of a Tango Ballet for the Tulsa Ballet Dance Company.
He and his partner were the feature dancers on the PBS special ‘Tango Magic’ with Pablo Ziegler and the Orpheus Orchestra and had the honor of being the first non-Asians ever invited to perform at the Imperial Theater in Tokyo.
Guillermo served as a judge at The Tango Mundial, The World Competition for Argentine Tango in Montreal Canada and ATUSA Argentine Tango USA Official Championship and Festival in SanFrancisco California.
He and his then dance partner created Artango Dance School which is the realization of over 30 years of experience in Argentine Tango.

Carolina Jaurena's journey as a performer and artist began at an early age, ignited by an unwavering passion for the arts. With over 20 years of experience teaching and performing, she has become a multifaceted talent, excelling not only as a dancer but also as a certified RYT Yoga instructor and Zumba Instructor.
During her career as a dancer and performer, Carolina reached new heights when she graced the screen as a primary dancer in the feature film "Random Hearts," directed by the legendary Sidney Pollack.
Carolina's performances have spanned a wide range of exceptional productions, including "Eternal Tango" alongside Hector del Curto, the show "Tanguero," and "Tango! Soul and Heart," where she mesmerized audiences at the Kennedy Center with the Choral Arts Society of Washington.
Her artistry extended to the acclaimed off-Broadway production "Tango House," produced by Juan Fabbri, she showcased her talents in several seasons at the Thalia Spanish Theater and with Leonardo Suarez Paz's Cuartetango in New York .
Beyond her performances in the United States, Carolina's talent has been recognized internationally, as she has graced stages and conducted workshops across the globe. She taught a special Tango workshop at the Canarias Tango Festival in Spain, performed at the Solis Theater in Uruguay for "100 años de tango," and left a lasting impression in Germany with performances at prestigious venues such as The Theaterhaus in Stuttgart and the Alte Synagoge in Hechingen.
Her teaching style has been sought after at the Landesakademie in Ochsenhausen, where she conducted workshops that left a lasting impact on aspiring artists. Carolina has also been an integral part of the Camarada Tango Quartet from San Diego for the past 5 years and most recently performed with the Symphony of Solidarity at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Carolina's expertise as a performer and instructor has earned her a well-deserved reputation for precision of movement, professionalism, and undeniable charisma. In addition,

JOSE ROJAS

Jose Rojas is a professional dancer and instructor of traditional Argentinian folkloric dance.
Jose comes from Parana, Entre Rios, Argentina, where he ventured into dancing at the young age of six. Since then, Jose has participated in various renowned folkloric contests and festivals throughout Argentina, such as el Festival Nacional de Baradero in 2010, gaining recognition as best new dance couple; and becoming a finalist at el Festival Nacional de Cosquin in 2011 in the category for best dance ensemble. In 2014, Jose was invited to dance alongside the famed folkloric musician Jaime Torres during his performance in the city of Parana.
His passion for dancing motivated Jose to venture into other styles of dancing. He started ballet at the age of twenty-one at the Municipal Dance School of Parana and continued his practice at the Carla Tista Art Studio where he had the opportunity of taking dance lessons alongside world renowned dance instructors like Raquel Rossetti, Alejandro Totto and Inaki Urlezaga; and also learning jazz and contemporary style dancing.
Jose’s versatility in learning other dance forms, gave him the chance to participate in two important ballets co-produced between the Municipal Dance School of Parana and the famed Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires: Don Quijote in 2010 and Giselle in 2011, in which he shared the stage with first dancers from Teatro Colon like Silvina Perillo, Edgardo Trabalon, Nadia Muzyca and Gerardo Wyss, to name a few.
In 2015, Jose earned a full scholarship through an audition to attend the Contemporary Jazz Summer Intensive at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. Such was his good performance that he was given a second full scholarship to return to Joffrey and complete the 2015-2016 school year.
In 2016, Jose was invited by the famed Argentinian folkloric musician Roberto Carabajal to dance during his performances during the artist’s United States tour. He has also been invited to dance for events at the Argentinian Consulate in New York City; and to represent Argentina at many Latin American events in the United States.
At the present time, Jose continues to evolve as a dancer by learning new styles. He joined the Calpulli Mexican Dance Company where he dances traditional Mexican folk dance. He also continues to work as a dancer and choreographer of Argentinian folk dance, ballet and contemporary styles.
